GADSAR provided technical swift water rescue support to CVSAR for the search of a missing male subject whose vehicle had slid into Toby Creek. GADSAR assisted with downstream containment, shoreline searches and a sweep of Toby Creek. The male was found deceased under his vehicle.

The Incident Command (IC) System will be discussed and reviewed. And for those not in the know, the IC System is a set of personnel, policies, procedures, facilities, and equipment, integrated into a common organizational structure designed to improve emergency response operations of all types and complexities.

This Thursday we will hone our Map and Compass skills with some classroom work and a scenario or two. May 9th, 730pm at the SAR Hall. ORIENTEERING IS FUN!!!
