Peak Emergency Training

We will go over proper Radio use, handling and proper etique while on the Radio, as well as set up a Portable Repeater Station.

GADSAR was asked to assist KHMR Mtn Safety in a search for an out of bounds missing skier. 4 members of GADSAR attended the scene and the young male skier was found unharmed.

GADSAR was called out by the RCMP to assist with an injured male sledder in the Laing Creek area. 3 GADSAR members flew to the area where they attended to a single male sledder who had sustained massive trauma. GADSAR treated the individual and flew him back to Golden where he was handed off to BCAS.

The Executive meeting will be held Wednesday April 3rd in order to allow everyone to attend the Golden Cycling Club event on Thursday April 4th.

CARDA handlers Adam and Chris will give a presentation on the aspects involved with training an Avalanche Rescue dog. Brook and Barron will demonstrate their search skills around the Hall.
