GADSAR assisted KHMR Mtn Safety with an avalanche response adjacent to the ski area. A single male snowboarder was involved in an out of bounds avalanche. 

GADSAR was activated by BCAS to attend to an injured female skier at Icefall Brook. The subject was flown out to the Golden Airport. 

GADSARs Annual General Meeting. We will review the year, point out highlights and lowlights and discuss future endeavours. Everyone is welcome to attend and have their say on who will be part of the 2014 GADSAR Executive Committee.

An evening of Crevasse Rescue. Dual tension and drop loop systems will be demonstrated. Bring your own gear as well if you want to practise.

MoTI

GDSAR responded to a call regarding a missing sledder in the Quartz Creek snowmobile area. The individual was located unharmed and helped back to his groups vehicles.

GWRC

A refreshing evening of Ice Rescue. Please bring thermal layers, towel and extra dry clothes. We will be working on the Columbia River, on the ice and in the water.
